The BNP, why do people claim that they stand for the 'indiginous' population of Britain?

when there is actually no such thing?

Do they know that the Angles, Saxons and Jutes (commonly called Anglo Saxons), were immigrants coming to Britain for a better life?

Mainly because it is true. Everybody I speak to has had enough and let me assure you they are not knuckle dragging louts. These are people who have worked hard all their lives, to see it all given away. Soon this country will be so far down the drain that nobody can save it. When I say soon I mean by March next year and then we'll see if you're singing the same tune.

They came here a very long time ago and I can trace my ancestry back to the Anglo Saxons. That is what the indigenous population means.

The same could be said of many nations but we English still have a national identity, despite Labours best efforts. Maybe it's because we live in Britain, and the BNP = the British National Party. British, get the connection? They're a little like the scottish being members of the SNP. Do you also need that relationship explained?

Because of the short memories , like the fact the indigenous forefathers colonized the countries of the people they would like to see out ,

I'm an Indigenous Briton. The celts were here long before the mixture now called the English.

without looking it up, can you tell me the date St.George's day falls?
The English have given up on their national identity, they don't even know their own national anthem past the 1st verse

one definition of "indigenous" is "born-----in a land---especially before an intrusion".

on that basis it is fairly simple to state that, as the vast majority of people in this country as recently as 1950 were white, people of different colour skins were an "intrusion".

of course, if you use a different definition you come up with a different scenario. just proves the value and power of words! this in no way endorses the views of the bnp, or criticises, it is just another way of replying to your question.

If the British Isles could be said to have had an indigenous population, only the Welsh and Gaelic Celts would qualify - but I don't think, somehow, that these tatty little racists are trying to represent themselves as defenders of the Celts. And as a person of (probably) Viking/Celtic descent, I certainly don't want them purporting to defend me!

I'm afraid that your argument is even more vacuous than theirs.I can trace my family tree back to 1560.In my eyes that makes me indigenous.

I hate the way people confuse concerns over immigration levels with the ethos of the BNP...grrr.

Is veritas *snort* 5 married to mariachi by any chance???

I remember seeing a documentary a while ago when DNA ancestry science first kicked in..they had a black fella from Solihull and a white fella from Edinburgh who turned out to be genetically linked. The black man turned to the white man ( both of whom were pissing themselves) and said " Brother! "

Honestly you are dead right ...what a load of tripe 'indigenous' is.
