I have a netgear router too, right now mine has the power symbol on (the circle with the line in it), the wireless antenna symbol is on, the thing next to it that looks like an i or a ? depending on which way you look at it is on, and then the number 1 is on, all green. Everything else is off, nothing orange.

Is your orange thing causing your router not to work? I have had it do goofy things before, and had to basically shut down everything, and restart everything slowly one at a time. I even unplugged the router once or twice to get it to behave. Router should be the last thing you turn on. It may not necessarily be a problem with the router, it could be a problem with your internet service provider, or if you have any other devices hooked into it, such as a cable TV box or modem of some sort, the problem could be with them as well.

Edit:
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were dumb, I was just describing the lights on mine the best I could, in case they look similar to yours or not. My router is WGR614, not the same. If unplugging it and starting over doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to tell you... here's the support info I have for netgear:

email [email protected]
phone 1-888-638-4327
(this is a US phone number, just in case youre in another country)

hope you can fix it. good luck
