The Blind Side

Really looking forward to this one! A major plus is the attraction of seeing Sandra Bullock in tight trousers which, let's face it, doesn't happen very often!:)

this is a excellent film....it was heartwarming, inspirational and leaves you feeling happy when the credits roll at the end....saw this yday with my sister who really enjoyed it too....it raised alot of questions/discuss for the viewer

....Sandra Bullock was fantastic and that southern accent was very convincing....Sandra definately deserves an oscar nomination without doubt....The boy who plays michael he was very good....the little boy who plays sj was really cute and funny

....I was freaking surprised to see tim mc graw in this, didn't recognise him at first his performance was decent too....xo

Saw this on Friday too. I really enjoyed it! Sandra Bullock was great in it as was Quinton Aaron who plays Michael Oher- would definately recommend going to see it!

Saw the preview of this today and thought it was absolutely brilliant. Sandra Bullock is superb in it - as are the rest of the cast. A real feel-good movie. One of the best films I've seen in a long time. But ladies be warned, take a pack of tissues with you - you'll need them! :)

I saw this film, it is lovely. Its not that weepy (I am a girl) but there are moments where you think "yeah, that's real love".

I recommend it highly.

Also, while Sandra Bullock won the Oscar, for me, the best relationship in the film is between the football player and her son. Gold!

Saw a preview of this a couple of weeks back. I liked it, but honestly, it's pretty saccharine and sappy, just an afternoon TV movie with a bigger budget. There was very little tension, and everyone got whatever they wanted (I mean, those scenes between Leigh Anne and Sean were pointless, he just said 'yes' to her over everything!)

And as for SB getting the Oscar, well that's ridiculous. At what point did she get her teeth into anything? Her character had far less range than, say, Annie in Speed!

As I said, I didn't dislike this film, but I just can't believe the massive praise it's getting.

Saw a preview for this last week and thought it was really really good. Yes there were moments where it was obviously sappy but there was some funny dialogue (that had the entire full cinema laughing, something I've only ever come across when going to see The Hangover) and it was just a feel good movie. Would definately recommend it. You don't have to like or understand american football at all to go and see it

"2020.2009.12.29.The.Blind.Side.HDTV.XviD-2WiRE" video of the Oprah interview is on the piratebay etc.
You decide on the legality etc, i think its ok for a news show, its an interview including the real woman. search for 2020

Which was oscar nominated, so not really.

Made for T.V movies do not have high budgets, and do not get nominated for Oscars.

I wouldn't call it 'bland' either, as that would suggest the movie had no substance, or powerful performances, which is incorrect - 'Boring' maybe for those who prefer to be bombarded with special effects, high speed car chases, and lots of action. It's all down to personal 'taste'.
