Has anybody seen this film?

I always catch the beginning on Sky but for some reason i haven't watched it all the way through.

Robin Williams and Nathan Lane are an open gay couple and their son (Robin's son,but Nathan's like his mom) gets engaged to a girl. The couple plan to bring their parents together.Trouble looms with the gay couple because the fiancee's dad Gene Hackman is anti-gay..

I think that's the story anyway   :(

Well i found the first part of it hilarious and didn't find a dull moment!

Anybody seen this whole movie and would you recomment it because i might just buy it on DVD because it's cheap :D

I cant stand Robin Williams (Patch Adams anyone?) but he was really good in this one. I rented it many moons ago and really enjoyed it! I love thier butler (Agador?) !!!

Id recomend you do buy it and finish watching it. Its a proper feelgood movie.

The butler/houseboy was played by Hank Azaria, more well-known for his voice work on The Simpsons - he plays Apu, Chief Wiggum and others!

If you can't watch films with subtitles then maybe you should get it. If you're ok with subtitles then watch the original film called La Cage aux Folles, Its much funnier than the US remake, the timing is much better and the story with the conservative parents is loaRAB better.
Robin Williams character feels like a parody though it amazes me that people still cast Nathan Lane in anything on film! He is good on stage, but his film work stinks.
