First, bettas shouldnt be kept in bowls.
Breeding bettas requires research so you know what to do. Basically, youll need a larger tank, with a divider. Male on one side, female on the other. Feed them bloodworms and other live/frozen foods for two weeks or so. When the female has vertical stripes and the male builds a nest, remove the divider. As soon as the eggs are laid, remove the female, because the male will kill her. And once the babies are swimming on their own, remove the male.
Female bettas can usually be housed together just fine. Male bettas CANNOT be housed with any other betta.

You have to breed betta fish a in a 10 gallon aquarium, i suggest you do some research, get proper equipment, young healthy bettas, or you will end up with 2 dead fish!

Betta breeding is complex and complicated. I'm constantly amazed at the number of people on here who know little or nothing about Bettas and still want to breed them!
Do you know anything about conditioning them for breeding? Do you have any clue what you would do if you had a successful spawning? Bettas can have hundreds of fry. All the males have to be separated into separate tanks before they start fighting. Do you have the space and money for potentially hundreds of tanks? How about the time to care for them all? What then? Are you going to just wait for them to die of old age (A well-cared for Betta should live at least 5 years!)? You won't have much choice. You may be able to give away a few to family and friends, but you will be stuck with most of them. Pet shops won't buy them, they have contracts with their own suppliers. Ordinary people who want a Betta will go to a pet store, not some stranger's house.
Your best bet is to keep them separate. Leave breeding to the professional breeders. They know what they are doing and have the space and equipment to do it right.
