Ok so what is like one of the best places to go for photography?
Or should i just do online classes?
Or just get a major in Art and work form there?

You have many options with photography. It really depends on what your long term goal is and how fast you want to get there.

Fashion photography I'd recommend Brooks in CA.
Photography as a whole I'd recommend Ai (Art Institute).
Cheaper route and slower... NYIP (New York Institute of Photography)
Or...
You can self teach yourself and become a wedding/studio photographer for your own small business.

My advice is regardless of what you choose, pick up and SLR and begin. Snap away!

I've learned sooo much in the past 5 years from just picking up a camera!

Art major would be an added bonus I believe! :)

While at school I'd suggest a part time job in a studio such as Sears/Walmart/Target/JcPenny/ yada yada yada.. these are jobs that will teach you about working with customers and equipment and posing...they wont teach you the fun stuff but they are an excellent place to begin!

That is the first part. It is during this time that you will begin to build your camera system.

Then you need a few years as an assistant to a successful pro where you will hone your skills and learn the business aspects of being a pro.

After that, continue learning all you can until you cannot lift a camera due to old age.
