Which team, in their prime, would win? Give me a score, the best player coming out of it all, and the reason why they would win.
Team of Yesteryear:
PG: Magic Johnson
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Charles Barkley
PF: Karl Malone
C: Hakeem Olajuwon
Bench: K. Abdul Jabar, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, James Worthy
Team of Today:
PG: Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: LeBron James
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Shaquille O'neal
Bench: Steve Nash, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard
I don't know if people think this is as easy as people make it out to be. Kobe and LeBron (though I hate LBJ) can really have a field day if things go well. Deron Williams is physical enough to keep up with Magic, and team 2 is ridiculously deeper. Dwyane Wade coming off the bench vs. Kareem doing so is much more advantageous for team 2.
