Since it's almost 2008 and I know I did the same thing last year but I want to hear from you members what you think of this year about animation. We'll talk about the best and worst shows, episodes, episodes examples, writers, actors, news, and etcetera and/or tell me why. Neutral things in animation are accepted. Here's some examples:

The Best Series Finalies Episodes: Ed, Edd, N Eddy - A Fistful Of Ed and Kim Possible - Graduation
Reason: I don't know, they just both tied to be both excellent in my option, that I can't say how great they are.

Best Animated Movies: The Simpsons Movie and Enchanted
Reason: They both famous for different reasons and I like each of them.

The Worst Episodes In A Cartoon: Half of The Replacements episodes
Reason: Honsetly, these people on this show can do way better than this.

Here's the examples for The Best (And Worst) Of 2007 In Animation. What's yours.

I'll gladly make a comment!:)

Best Series Finale:

Kim Possible "Graduation"--a fantastic ending to a fantastic show!!!:D :D :D

Danny Phantom "Phantom Planet"--I thought it was great! I'm very glad Vlad Plasmius got his in the end!:p I also loved the Danny & Sam "kiss" scene!:D

Best Animated Episode:

Emperor's New School "Emperor's New Musical"--best episode of this series so far! I loved the musical showdown between Eartha Kitt & Joey Lawrence!:D :D :D

Winx Club "Tears of the Black Willow"--the episode where sweet & gentle Flora got furious at the Trix for hurting her younger sister, Rose! A very powerful episode!:D :D :D

Best Animated Movie:

Transformers--excellent special effects! Also, Peter Cullen was terrific reprising his role as Optimus Prime!:D

Meet the Robinsons--a nicely animated movie with a good plot.:)

"A Fistful of Ed" ain't the show's finale, BTW. That goes to the upcoming movie, which I'm looking very forward too.And here are my nominees:

Best Season: Tie: Ed, Edd, n' Eddy/ American Dragon: Jake Long
Now, for the former, we've really only received 4 eps this year, but IMO, these four are better than anything else that came out in the past 12 months, but just in case that ain't enough, I'm adding in my addiction to the list. Could of won, but not enough great eps to do so. Anyway, both will be missed,

Best New Show: Chowder
Think children's comedy is going down? Stay around, 'cause something's always cookin' in this crazy new world. Let's hope the show develops enough to become the next best thing, as the comedy's gold.

Best Episode: American Dragon: Jake Long "Homecoming"
As somewhat rushed as it is, it's still the best half-hour of entertainment I've ever seen. Just amazing throughout, espeically the last five minutes, which still have me in tears.

Honorable Mention: King of the Hill "Death Picks Cotton"
After a somewhat deplating past couple fo season, the odd man out picked itself up again eariler this year with it's 11th season, and it's next season continues the good streak by gaining the balls to kill off one of it's most popular characters and still be able to keep it's charm throughout. Let's hope FOX continues to keep the ax away from this one.

More choices from me to come, when I think of any.

Note: I do not have anyone in mind to say of worse of any category.

I wouldn't say it's really one of the best, but it does have some closure of sorts.

TMNT FF: Head of State. It explains how Bishop changed from being obsessed with aliens to being President of the Pan Global Alliance and brings closure to Baxter's saga where he finally regains a body since the technology in 2105 made it easy.

Best Finale: Danny Phantom: Phantom Planet. Wasn't as great as it could have been but it had some really wonderful moments.

My favorite Animated movie: Ratatouille

Best Episode: Avatar: The Day of Black Sun, technically two episodes but I think for our purpouses we can count it as one.

I seriously hope Ratatoullie wins for Best Animated movie more than The Simpson's movie. As for best animated series finale, I'd nominate Avatar hands down. It's known well for its cliff hanging closures.

That being said...

Best Animated Movie: Ratatoullie
Reason: Interesting plot, fun cast, humorous, great music, and it's a Pixar film. (There best yet, imo.)

Best Series Finale: Avatar
Reason:
Doesn't take short-cuts like most American animated shows. Plus, you can see how much dedication there is in the show, and how it captures the emotion and feel pretty well in both action and drama sequences.

But, the series finale hasn't aired yet.

My choice for best series finale? Hard to say, as pretty much all of them were very disappointing, but perhaps AD's "Hong Kong Longs". What really set it down was how rushed it was, but it still gave out the emotional response.

Okay...

Worst decision by a company in animation:
Getting Cartoon Network to run live action shows to compete with Disney. We all know this, we've complained about it, we screamed and yelled.... still happened anyway.

Dishonerable Mention:
CW selling Kid's WB to 4Kids, the competition that comes in second or third to Kid's WB.

Best animated movies:
Ratatoullie- indeed, sharp writing and a clever plot kept it from being a standard Kid's movie. And without poo jokes neither!

Lucky Luke Goes West and the Simpsons movie- I'm biased. I'm putting these two here for being traditional (or semi traditionally) animated. Too bad one's in France.

Worst Animated Movie- well.... I didn't really bother to see much anything else, but I really wanna put Surf's Up and Happily Never After there....

Worst Cartoon to live action movie adaption-
Underdog. Seriously.... what was the call for that. I ask you, these Disney execs are crazy.

Best Animation in threaters:The Goofy Short.

Best episode in Animated series:American Dragon's Homecoming,no episode managed to pack more of a punch.Including no show and that includes Avatar.

Best new Animated show:Chowder.

Worst new Animated show:My Gym Partner's a monkey.

Best animated TV show:Good Wilt Hunting.

Best Animated Movies of 2007
1. Rattatoulie
2. Futurama: Bender's Big Score
3. Paprika (though technically it came out in Japan very late last year)
4. The Simpson's Movie
5. Tekkonkinkreet
