Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar has a character named Mrs. Willard in the story. She is the mother of her childhood love and she depicts the ideal woman of the times. I've looked for biographies on Plath, and I'm trying to find out if Plath has a woman in her life like Mrs. Willard. Does anyone know where i can find a biography on Plath that discusses her love affair with the man portrayed as Buddy in The Bell Jar, or provides information on other people in her life who made an impression on her book?
