...room... electric safe? The bathroom basic drains very slowly, the tap was left on and running quite fast, this overflowed on to the floor and at some point during about 3 hours poured through the ceiling.
This has dripped/ran down the light fitting and light switch (amongst other areas) which has tripped the electrics on that circuit... my concern now is - is it safe to reset the trip (I'm guessing not), will leaving it to dry rectify the problem? and if so how long?
Do you think we'll need to make an insurance claim?

I've cleaned up (as much as possible) the visible water but I'm concerned about
The room that's affected (Dining room) is on the same circuit as most of our downstairs - and garage, the freezer is in the garage so is now not working :-(
Would it be safe to flip the trip?
