I was moving the boat in today and I had both back doors of my 1992 Chevy G20 open to see, when I went to close them, I accedentally closed the wrong one first. I went to open it and it's stuck. I took off the panel on the inside (the one with the carpet on it) and I can see a loose control arm, it looks like its the one that goes to the bottom latch. But when I press the button on the door, the top latch does not open as well. Is there any way I can get this door open just so I can close both doors? Currently the left door wont close because the right door is blocking it. Any tricks to just pop it open without having to get the little bar fixed? Or is there a way to remove the mettal backing of the door so I can work on the control arm and try and figure out how to fix it? Inside there is only a small square hole to work in, and I have big hands....
PLEASE HELP!
