of us shouldn't the government? do something about this?

Shouldn't the federal government start its own insurance company and make available to us car insurance on a non profit basis to compete against the private companies?

This wouldn't hurt their business at all they would just have to charge less and compete against a non profit business.

Everybody wins right?
