In that story, the hangman refuses to execute a person who was punished with a death sentence. It is in the form of a conversation....one guy speaks, then the other speaks in inverted commas.....I don't remember the exact title either because I read it about 7 years ago when I was a kid......I wanted to know the name of the author so that I can read that story again.
