I'll try not to sound like a real dumba$$ with this but I'll try to
guide you.
My friend had the same truck with the same problem.
There is some little switch under the dash that needs to be in the
right position when you insert the key. If it doesn't work one way
try it the other. Or temporarily disconnect the horn or pull the
fuse ...

You could have put the battery in with the cables reversed.

lock the doors with the remote and then unlock them with the remote, this will shut off the alarm
