the a/c knob on my 96 dodge caravan only works to 2nd speed?

a/c knob on my 96 dodge caravan only works to 2nd speed 3rd, 4th, and 5th do not want to work anymore does anyone know what is wrong
 
the blower motor resistor is bad on it when a certain part of it burns out you start loosing fan speeds,so id replace that first,that's the most common cause of that happening,if that isn't it then its the main switch its self that has went bad on it,good luck.
