Avoided this at the cinema as it really did not interest me but finally watched it on SKY the other night and it's brilliant, very funny and quite crude but well worth watching.

I completely agree!

A funny, affecting film. No huge stars, either , which is always refreshing. I have to admit I kept thinking, at the beginning, who is this guy? Why didn't they put Ben Stiller in this part? He would have been ideal!

However, hats off to Steve Carell and the rest of the cast. It was a great film

The first half of the film is funny but the second half isnt as good. The chest waxing schene had me crying.

Yes. that was pretty iconic as far as movie moments go, it was a thousand times funnier that Mel Gibson shaving his legs in what Women Want!

I also enjoyed the running joke that he was considered a freak because he rode a bike in America, it was commented on all the time!

the scene with the chest hairs is real, he wanted it to be authentic.

the scene where she knocks him off his bike into the van had me in tears

Missed this in the cinema so i went out & bought it on dvd.I was pretty dissapointed in the movie.I thought it was going to be more funnier but it wasn't.

i watched on sky movies few weeks back and it was absolultey brilliant so i decided to hire it off love film and it has arrived ths morning for me to watch again the reason its steve carell is he part wrote the movie himself and decided to act in it as well also carell was funny in anchorman and bruce almighty
