The news only uses small edits,tells a complete story in 2 minutes so only people who do further research gets the facts and everyone Else gets the news pro grammes perspective.
Another example would be when i worked in a bar.No one was buying a drink called Magners witch was a cider in till the adverts started coming on the telly.In the advert the people where drinking it with ice.Before this advert i never saw anyone put ice in there cider.After this advert everyone was asking for magners with ice it went on for weeks very scary to see the power of t.v.
Another example would be gangster rap music and gangster films.Just look at all the young men this affects dont really need to say more.
Another intresting point to bring up is how often we can be imeresed in the media and this inturn must have a effect on our thoughts.Get up watch the news,go to work put on radio,get to work listen to radio,come home watch t.v then go to bed.If this isnt effecting your opinion of the world one way or another you would have to be a strong person.But if its not effecting you directly then of course it will indirectly because everyone one way or another has been effected directly or indirectly.
