I got my nose pierced on March 25... and two days ago I notice a noticeably large bump around my nose piercing . I have a nose ring, not a stud. I don't play with my ring, it has been bumped occasionally by accident when I'm doing things (like I forget its there or just bump it by mistake) and when I'm kissing. The ball sticks out too sometimes, but I just use a q-tip to guide it back in my nose I don't touch it with my hands. Maybe I did that too much? Is it irritated...?
I know this 'bump' is common but is it infected or is this a keloid? I examined the bump and it looks like there is white pus inside and possibly a little blood. I can't be sure. I haven't touched it nor have I tried to pop it or squeez it. I use the H20 ocean spray and clean it with a q-tip and of course put my nose under the water in the shower...
What do you think it is? I'm going to my piercer tomorrow afternoon but I wanted to know now, because I am very impatient!
