My mom invited me to dinner tomorrow, but my fiance is not invited because they got into a big fight a few months ago. He tried apologizing to her even though it wasn't his fault, but she wants nothing to do with him. My whole family is going to be there, and they would be so hurt if I didn't show up as I am close to everyone. At the same time, My fiance doesn't have any family here(they are in ny & we're in hawaii) and I'd be hurt to leave him all alone on thanksgiving.All his friends have plans with their gfs, so theres no one for him to be with. Any suggestions on what I should do?
