Thank God for Renee Zellweger

I am sat here watching Cold Mountain, almost losing the will to live thanks to the awful performances from Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, then along comes Renee to wake the whole film up
 
I must admit I haven't seen Cold Mountain so I can't comment specifically on her performance in that, but, generally I can't stand the woman and have hated her in virtually every role I've seen her in.
 
Renee is amazing in Cold Mountain, but I actually thought Jude did a pretty good job as well. Nicole was the weakest link in my opinion.
 
I thought she was horrific in it, IMO her perofrmance was a joke, totally OTT dire. I laughed out loud at her.

I don't know how she ever got an oscar, all she ever does is scrunch up her face and put on a baby voice.
 
I agree she was appalling in it. Maybe if you are american then you can understand more of what she says but some of it was so difficult to interpret. And it annoyed me that she screwed up her face for the entire film for no good reason!
 
I think she's a fantastic actress...

Cold Mountain was a brilliant film that just shouldn't have had Nicole Kidman in, as IMO she can't act very well...
