Textbook Water Damage? Help?!?

Okay, i found my school textbook underneath my couch. It's been like 3 months since i've seen it! It got water damage, however, because my mom found it in the car after it rained. I don't know why it wasn't dried? I don't think i noticed it? Anyway, the lost book cost is $64. I have that much but i really don't want to pay for it because i have to start looking for show goats which can get expensive so i want to save, even if the book is cheap. The book doesn't have mold in it because it hadn't been exposed to air, however, the pages are wrinkled. As we speak, i'm carefully separating the pages to make sure that they don't stick together. How do i get rid of the wrinkles?
The Show Goats are a school project so i have to buy the goats.

The text book is completely dry
Also, the book is still readable

maybe when its ALL dry.. like hair dryer or w/e then place a tea towel or something over the page and iron it lightly...not too much.. just to see if it goes smooth. in my head it works and because of the tea towel it shouldnt burn or anything...goodluck
