text messaging question (sprint)?

ok so i've been taking to friends all weekend and day and they have been getting my text and replying but apparently today around 12ish they were getting text messages that i sent on saturday 3 days ago. surprisingly they all use verizon. whats going on. ive talked to these guys through text all weekend just they are getting some text today
 
Thats happened to me also. Its not the Sprint servers its actually Verizons server. It would only happen with Verizon to me also. Its quiet normal at times so there is just a delay in the server even though the message was recieved. I would also recieve mulitple or repeat messages and only has happened with verizon customers
