What is the Texas board of education trying to change about the history books? I've heard they're trying to take out Thomas Jefferson because he wasn't a Christian, and try to make Martin Luther to seem more of an exemplary character, but I've not sure about the details. All I've basically heard is that Texas is trying to sneak religion into the history lessons, and take out anything that would make America seem like it had ever messed up or done anything bad.
