Ok so I'm 17 and have been talking to a guy I have liked for awhile who just turned 21. I live in Texas and know the legal age of consent is 17 (though I don't plan on giving it up). My parents like the guy and are fine with us dating. However, I've heard around that it wouldn't be ok since its a 4 yr age difference.
What are your thoughts? Would it be illegal for us to kiss and such? From what I've read it sounds like we could "date" but not kiss or be out of public until I'm 18?
