well im about to deploy to guam for about 4-6 months. i dont think they offer internet in the rooms or wireless so my question is, would it be a good idea to do the 19.99 unlmited BB internet and use it as a modem for my laptop? But because im in guam which is still considerd international, would i be paying alot for data? i dont know very much about this so thought id ask here. thanks.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~i know that the package you mentioned does include tethering but I'm not sure if it includes international data. You might want to call customer service and ask that one. I use tmo in Alabama but I have zero plans for overseas anytime soon. Sorry.

TMO international Email (flat $19.99/month) does NOT cover data. They charge for data usage. My advice is CALL TMO CUSTOMER SERVICE....and then call again and see if you get the same answer twice! Make sure you clearly understand what you are getting into - I would hate to see you be the post with the $3000 data bill!

take it from first hand experience i traveled to brazel on business and its roaming data charges and ran total about $3100 but that is with cell usage and alot of data just from the BB itself not just tethering. only good thing is my company picks up all cell bills
