tethering with the blackberry 9700

I have been tethering with my pearl 8120 and works great. Just purchased the new 9700 from T-Mobile, do I have to just download the new desktop manager and plug in or is there something else I need to do???

Yes, pretty much the same thing. I have upgraded 3 times, only thing that changed is going from XP to vista. Only thing might change is the number for getting 3G over EDGE

Install the latest DM and select IP moden, from the dropdown menu select tmo usa and then connect, and you're ready to go

Where does IP Modem appear in DM? I've installed the latest version and I can't find it. Is it because I have another modem in my computer?
