Tethering w/ TMOB @ Europe - 2 questions

I'd like to tether my new Curve @ Greece, and I'll have purchased the unlimited international email and data plans ($19.99/mo) before heading over from US. First, this will work, right?...in the same fashion as it works in US? Second, does tethering consume 'phone' minutes or will I truly have unlimited 'tethered' modem access to internet on my laptop? THNKS
 
tethering does not use phone minutes but you need to make sure that you are not roaming while tehtering b/c you data bill will be threw the roof.
