testoterone induced acne

My father is 69 years old and has developed acne because of the testosterone shots he has to take. Does anybody know if there is any kind of treatment that will work for this problem. He has tried several topical medications as well as oral medications. If you have any ideas please respond.

Oh my, that doesn't sound very good especially at 69! I've heard so much about this testosterone/hormonal stuff causing acne it's insane. Is he still taking the shots? If so, maybe the best idea would be to do some searches on a natural replacement, there are a lot of natural ways to treat problems such as herbal supplements without using actual testosterone. I personally don't think anything topical is going to help much, how severe is it? Did he have any skin problems before the shots?
 
He can try natural replacements, but they may not work. I am on HRT(Testosterone) b/c mine is so low. My doctor and me tried everything before deciding to do this. I tried DHEA,tribulus,etc.
My blood test kept coming back low so he send me to an Endocronoligist and he put me on test. I am also having problems with acne now. It's small red bumps. My dermatologist just started me on Doryx @ 100mg everyday, so I can't say if it's working yet.
I wish I could help more,but I'm in the same shoes as you. Looking for info.
