My mother recently bought a pack of Tarot cards for her and her friends to use. She told me I should try to learn about them and try them out myself, you know, just for some fun. I know some people are very spiritual and are really into these things.
I just want to know everyone's view on them. I tried them out and here's what I got...
Love: I pulled 2 cards, Queen of Wands and King of Pentacles. It was my first draw and I was shocked to see a king and queen card already. I haven't had a real boyfriend in over 2 years, so this got me thinking a bit.
Then I asked about my health and future. I was going to Mexico before I asked, I'm back now, and I'm still just healthy as ever. I drew the card, The Sun, which said I'd get healthier.
I then asked if I'd have enough money soon in order to buy all my new school clothes. I drew The 10 of Pentacles.
I asked about any current situations with friends and things such as fighting. I drew The 10 of Wands.
I asked about my school year. I decided I'm going to kick it up a notch because I got lazy during the past year and didn't do as well as I normally do, but I wasn't shocked. I knew I got lazy. Anyway, I drew the Temperance card.
I then asked about work. I work in a law office, working on files for my Godfather. It surprises people on how a 15 year old obtained that job. Anyway, I drew a card that stated something like "Legal matters will settle in one's favor." I can't recall which card it was. I forgot to write it down.
My questioning on this... I have this vision of myself. Sort of as a better, happier person. I'm not over weight, at all, but I'm not very healthy. And there was a time this year when I wanted to go blonde, but I changed my mind. The Queen of Wands card said something about color by the bottle if I wasn't blonde when I drew the card. From what my book of meanings said and how I interpret these cards, it seems like my life will get pretty good.
I'm not saying I believe everything these cards have "stated" but you know, some very spiritual people trust them. I know the future could be changed and it's not set in stone.
Any thoughts? Any experiences? Any belief or disbelief? Yes? No?
