Test rode a C90

Hi folks,

I went to a demo day yesterday. I wanted to test ride an S50 there where I bought my C50 last year. After a pleasant ride on Highway 1 to Surrey, BC, because there wasn't any S50s, I signed up for an S83.

Soon after I got off my C50, it was my turn but some other guy who'd put his name on the S83 showed up and I ended up with a C90 instead.

I was behind two 109ers and we took off. Wow, what a powerful machine.

The C90 had only 88 kms on it. The clutch was not adjusted very well, the heel end of the shifter was almost leveled with the floor board so the shifting wasn't very easy for me. I realized that the bike easily went up to 50 kph on the first gear.

Handling the C90 was easy, it felt so natural and just slightly larger than my bike but man, it wanted to go faster.

The 109ers switched their bikes at an intersection, they looked satisfied but at the end of the ride one of them said he'd keep his gold wing.

Will I upgrade to a C90? No, not any time soon. I just want to master my C50 but I definitely want to go to more test rides.

Despite the rain on the way home, riding in a large group was fun, the stunt show was great and I enjoyed the first long trip of the season.

Greetings to all C90 riders.

The C90 starts to come alive after some mileage experience, new exhaust and a bit more open airway. I've really enjoyed mine for the last 7000 miles since July last year. I put another 200 miles on mine Saturday and got 48 MPG. That included plenty of cruising on rural highways, some city driving and canyon carving. Its a nice bike and quite a bargain.

Greetings!
I had a C50 and it an awesome bike. Mama wanted to start riding with and so I went to a C90T. This bike is a dream to ride. The shifter is a bit stiff during break in but it is sure. Concerning the heel toe shifter, I shift up the old fashioned way 98% of the time.
You will not be sorry with the C90:)
