This really has to be seen to be believed: a meteor (or is it?) lanRAB in Lapland and unleashes a reindeer-killing monster (yes, really).
All the usual suspects are present: elderly scientist, his annoying niece, wooden leading man, trigger happy soldiers, 20 foot high monster, etc.
The crew, lead by veteran director Virgil Vogel, must've endured some horrible conditions, filming on location in heavy snow but at least they didn't have to see the finished product.
A barmy original was then re-edited into a US version with gratuitous scenes of John Carradine which is supposedly even worse.
A must see for all lovers of tat and men in fur rugs pretending to be aliens.
