manner? Ever since about 20h00 on the time I am on, I have been receiving repeated notices from Yahoo! Answers informing me that that my question had been chosen as a best answer. The question was "What does it mean when someone calls you a "sheep" metaphorically?" It was posted by someone whose Yahoo! Answers name was absolutely fabulous. As far as I am concerned, the person could have looked up the answer on his or her own. The notices, all identical having been coming in about every 40 minutes. They may soon be blocking my account. I tried sending some to my Outlook Express account, which has more room in it. Initially, I was able to open them in Outlook Express and view the information I wished to see in it. I wanted to retain them in order to prove that a problem existed. However, today my local server and Outlook Express will not let me open the e-mail notices. A message saying they contain an unsafe attachment appears. I had forwarded them directly, not as attachments.

These repeated e-mails, as you must know, are extremely annoying. It seems like someone at Yahoo! Answers must be letting me know I have overstayed my welcome on this web site.

Can anyone offer me any information on the cause of this problem and on what I can do about it.

By the way, who is Lars on Yahoo! Answers administration, apart from a Scandinavian?

I have another problem on Yahoo! Answers as well. It seems to be related because of the timing. However, I am saving it for another question.
Thank you for all your answers. I can now see that it is a general problem. I will not take it so personally. I also would like to apologize to the person who voted my answer as best answer for mentioning his or her name. I realize this person is not to blame for the difficulty and may be experiencing it along with the others. The problem, as I mentioned, falls on the heels of some other troubles I have been having on Yahoo! Answers, presumably with fellow users.

I don't know who Lars is but you are not alone in getting so many messages. I have reported it and so have many others but hopefully come Monday it will be fixed ( I hope )

I have had the same problem. Mark it as spam (in your email account), and it should go away.
