Terrible sharp abdominal pains, dizziness, what could it be?

Okay so this morning I was rudely awoken at about 6.00 by excruciating, sharp, searing pains in my lower abdomen. It's not period pains, I know what those feel like and that's not what it is. If I lay on my left side they were at least somewhat more bearable, but once when I turned over onto my back I could hardly breathe it was so bad and it felt like the pain moved up into my chest and shoulders...so I rolled back over and stayed on my left side because that was the only way I could handle it. It was SO bad. And I was trembling so hard and couldn't stop...I usually tremble a lot when I'm sick or cold or upset or for pretty much any reason, but this trembling was much harder than any time before. I was really afraid.

This pain lasted for about a half hour or an hour, I don't know exactly, but finally I fell asleep again. I decided that since I had such a hard night I would let myself sleep in a bit, and I didn't wake up again until about 8.30. When I woke up at 8.30 the stomach pains had lessened considerably and are now just a small, nagging pain in my lower abdomen and they're not bothering me too much...but now the problem is that I'm quite dizzy and a little bit nauseous.

So what might be the problem? And if it happens again, how can I relieve the pain?

Oh, and if it makes a difference I'm a 15-year-old female, and as far as I know I'm pretty healthy...
No, I'm not pregnant. Never had sex in my life and don't plan to anytime soon.
