Terminator 2 in 3D - never done before!

Hi, I put up some clips in 3D but I think this is the best one, most natural looking. Terminator 2 in real 3D, natural looking.

This is groundbreaking stuff, folks. Never been done before. True depth on a 2D screen - no glasses needed, no special tv. I plan to market this technology in the new year. Wish me luck. I think it will change films forever.

It's not 3D, just normal parallax. It's what you see when you open your eyes, assuming you have two.
Have you ever seen a 3D movie, seriously?

If the OP claims to have discovered a revolutionary process to turn 2D movies into 3D without glasses, then presumably he will be patenting this discovery and getting rich off it.

But so far he has failed to convince one single person (apart from himself) that it works.

It's not looking good, is it?

LMAO. :D Is this a wind-up? Maybe you're trying to see if you could start an Emperor's New Clothes thing? If so, you'll have to do better than that.

Not only is it not 3D, that's some seriously shoddy 2D quality too.

Yeah floopy, show us some 1080p footage! I'm willing to be convinced here but when I watched your clip it took me back to the days of VHS rather than forward to a new 2.5D frontier.

Hi all! ;)

I can assure everyone it is real depth 3D. I'm not winding people up. The images are altered to create depth 3D. I am hosting a new scene from Terminator 2, it's in the process of being uploaded onto Youtube.

As for the resolution - all clips are taken from DVD source. Youtube can't upscale the material but you're getting decent quality because the picture size of the video is quite small so this improves the image. The depth effect would work with a HD source so in theory the effect should look even more striking. I don't think the picture quality looks too shabby.

I'm planning on pursuing this in the new year and see what feedback I get - studios, electronic firms etc. You never know what can happen. Nothing ventured... nothing gained. :)

I'm going to host a few clips, one more Star Wars clip and perhaps a standard 2D next to the depth 3D to show a 'live' comparison.

Check out the T-1000 at the 56 seconRAB mark - looks good!

I would prefer the screen size a tad smaller for better picture quality. Never mind. ;)

I will do Star Wars end scene!

Watch as Arnold gets up - notice the depth behind him - notice the guy with the camera. it's real depth - that is 3D. It's natural depth 3D. This isn't coming out at you 3D, it's as it would look like if you had a window looking onto the scene. That's why it should be groundbreaking. It's subtle.

I think the bit where Arnold gets up, walks past the guy with the camera is 3D depth. That's where you can see the effect in all its glory. And I don't think anyone has done that before with no glasses on a regular monitor screen. And I will shut up now and do Star Wars!

Floopy I'm trying but the quality just sucks balls! There's masses of HD content on the net, why don't you apply your magic to a short, crystal clear clip and then run a side by side. it's the only way you'll convince people (especially people who've seen 3D in the cinema) that your work has any merit and isn't just the inane babblings of someone who's had too much sherry!

I'm going to subscribe to your channel on YT because, like I said, I'm willing to be convinced, and I like the fact that you're still pushing this even though everyone says your bonkers! That buys you a chance in my book;)

Plenty of clips here
