So you guys know how I found them....

GIYF [Google is Your Friend.] The key was querying the exact product name that Ducati uses: Termignoni Racing Carbon Silencer Kit
http://www.ducati.com/shop/category.jsp?catid=cat1530116

That threw up a whole new set of dealers that were diligent about adhering to Ducati's product name. Ducati calls them "racing silencers" not "exhaust".

Yup, "Race ECU" comes with the slip-ons. After you change it out, when you turn on the ignition your dash says, "1098 Racing" ["848 Racing"] instead of "1098 Superbike". Now, what that actually means electronically and mechanically is vague at the moment. I know one change is that it holds your butterfly valve in the exhaust wide open at all RPM's, instead of closing it at low RPM's.

I understand there is "yet another" Racing ECU that comes with the "Termi full system". But, that kit is $3,000 because it comes with new pipes.

That's about all I know.

They just recently changed it from 1098/848s Slip-ons to 1098/1098s Slip-ons now. When I first checked the site after reading this thread, I remember it saying 1098/848s..BTW, don't know why it said 848s....

Just bought a full EXHAUST set for my 1098S,
