Okay, I've been playing saxophone for maybe two or three years and my teacher just moved me up to tenor last year because we were overflowing with alto players. When you articulate, should you actually feel your tongue hitting the reed? Because I don't and I've only ever realized it now, I just use air to stop and start the note. When I started playing my teacher said my articulation was fine, but I'm starting to think I'm doing it horribly wrong.
