is it legal in the state of tennessee for one tenant to have another tenant kicked out of their joint apartment, when both names are signed on the lease?
they both pay rent, only snag is one of the tenants asked the other to pay the security deposit and now the one who paid it is threatening this, which she will, just still trying to earn the money.
I am not either of the tenants, but a friend is having this happen to her. personally, I believe that if neither of the tenants are owners of the property, then there is no legal standing to kick the other out
