Tenant is MIA?

I live on the first floor of a two family home. Tenant has not been heard from or seen in over a week. Rent is due on the 1st...nothing as of yet. How long do I need to wait to enter the unit/consider the apartment abandoned? All utlilities are included in the rent and I need tenants up there to make my bills/mortgage. I have a contact number...but all calls are ignored.

This is NY state.
