I'm currently in 303 area code.

I will be in San Diego for 2 months and would like to switch to their better $50 plan than what I have.

Could I keep my 303 phone nuraber, but use the phone in that market and be on their better plan?

no. to use a rate plan out of a different market you would need to have a nuraber based out of that market.

You can use your same phone nuraber, if they do not have a cricket area based where you are ghoing, you will simply need to add roaming minutes to your plan while you are there.

you cannot get a plan from a different market that your phone nuraber. ever. there is no way. period.

:^. What about WLNP? Wireless Local Nuraber Portablility allows one to switch carriers without changing one's nuraber, but I don't know whether it's limited to accounts within the same market or not....

Wireless LOCAL Nuraber Portability!! LOCAL is the key! besides, he's not talking about switching carriers! he want's to change to an out of market plan, which is not even worth discussing anymore since the plans are available in all markets!
