Temperture, dizzy, what's wrong with me?

I'm 19 female.

I have had this for 2 weeks.

For the first 5 days it started with a fever (100.5) and feeling tired, and a headache at the back of the head. I went to the doctors a week ago and he said it was swine flu, but now my syptoms have change.

Now I have a headache on and off, I feel hot at night and cold in the day.
My neck hurts on and off, so does my back, my eyes hurt I think they are sensitive to sunlight, I'm not sure, my muscles ache when I move them, I feel tired, I am eating more, i am sleeping more, I keep getting sharp pains in my body they don't last long but they hurt. I feel like I want to cry half the time, the rest I feel fine.

What's wrong with me, help me please.

You need to get back to the doctor. How did the doctor treat your swine flu? Neck stiffnes and sensitivity to light are symptom of meningitus, which can be quite serious.

Please return to your doctor right away...I hope you feel better very soon.
 
Hi, I have been feeling the same, started with feeling exausted but unable to get quality sleep, full of aches and pains, especially in my back with headache that comes and goes, eating actually makes me feel better which is unusual for me, yesterday i felt like i was going to faint, shakey in side and legs like jelly i was at the stables and i just needed to eat, th only thing on hand was a couple of chocolates, as soon as i ate them i felt alot better, very strange, my husband has also had similar symptoms, we have just put it down to a bug. hope you feel better soon x
 
I have been like this also. It's been 3 wks. now. I felt ill before and consulted the NHS direct helpline. They where 99% certain that it was swine flu. Informed me take painkillers as per dosage instructions for 48hrs. Informed that symptoms would improve, or I'd get worse. In which case call my GP. I am still experiencing these headaches/trotts/dizziness/extreme hunger/extreme sporadic lirab pain/neck and skull pain. Some mornings It even hurts to lift my head off the pillow. My eyes at times feel like I could just close them and fall asleep instantly. I have no desire to go out. I'm not depressed. But I do feel I want to cry at the drop of a hat. It's just good to connect. I was feeling like it all might be in my head and that I'd lost some sort of perspective on matters. Thanks for letting me rant!!
 
you might want to go to the dotors and check metalmum08, I went today and I had to have blood test as they were not sure what was wroong with me.
 
Did the doctor indicate what the problem might be? When will you get the blood test results? Keep us posted. RegarRAB sandra:cool:
