Telus Sim card for T-Mobile Blackberry?

Okay so i called telus and they told me that their simcard is more advanced its not GMS its HCA or something like that i was wondering if there simcard will work for the T-Mobile Blackberry Curve 8900 which is unlocked. The telus guy told me he`s not sure and i want to know for sure before i buy the blackberry
