Telus i830 on Nextel Network

A guy in our Canada office gave me his Motorola i830 which was used with Telus. When I put my Nextel Sim card in the phone it says: Subsidy Lock

When I open the phone it says "Enter Special Code" It seems to be looking for an 8 digit password.

How do I get the Telus i830 to work with my Nextel service?

(I'm alittle green here)
