Telus Cell phone always giving me problems?

I now know signing into a 3 year contract with Telus was the stupidest possible.
(so don't mention it)
My phone has been sent in once for repairs for actual phone problems.
been sent into an LG warehouse or whatever because of problems. its been almost a year since ive had this phone....and it still gives me problems. Oh and ive probably called tech support a couple million times to. My warenty ends in January...i really have no idea what i should do...is there really anything i can do or am i basically screwed because of my idiotic choice to stay on contract.
the problem now is with my phone not the other persons im sure, sometimes the other person doesnt recieve my msgs(usually the ones over 200 words which is easy to text) and sometimes i dont recieve theres...but there phone is new and theyve called before...its definatly me.(they have a rogers cell phone by the way)

My main question is Is there anything i can do ive done everything in my power had everything possible done to my phone through people in store sent out and over the phone...

*my phone is the LG Venus 8000 if that says anything...i love this phone just sucks that it gives me so many problems
