Camped yesterday @ 5:30pm in 24F weather till 6:30am this morning, got my ticket from Wal-Mart, 7am when they opened I got my PS3 20GB

I was 3 back from getting a 60GB and the 3 in front of me arrived 2 mins before me.

I was thinking about waiting, but when I saw lines forming DAYS in advance, I said F that. I will wait until next year to see if it is worth buying at that time.

I didn't wait at all. My EB prematurely did a preorder which got that manager fired. At least they honored them.

I got the 60gb version with Ridge Racer 7 this morning.

camped out tuesday night, however we let each other come and go, held each others spots for hours on end (people had to shower, eat, etc). it was cool.

i was 9th in line out of 14 at circuit city and got a 60gb

then i went over to gamestop an hour later to pick up my 60gb ps3

pretty much the same shit at the circuit city i waited at. Seems like the CC's were mad cool about the campers this year.

yea, it wasn't bad at all, they even let us use their electricity and bought us coffee and snacks throughout the days.

the people i were camping with were awesome people too, they let me go to class everyday and vice versa.

it was funny to just see the look of peoples faces when we directed them to the sign at the front of the line that said 14 60gb units and then told them how many people were in the line already

haha yeah same shit. there was a 15 yr old who brought a laptop and they even gave him their wifi key so we could get internet access.

they made us put out a duraflame though when we were roasting marshmallows.

26 hours at target for preorder gf = 2. 38 hours at target last few days with gf = 2 more. all 60 gigs

Amount of time actually SITTING down in line: 12 hours combined maybe. Most of the time we were in a nearby store, left to go back to campus, playing football in the parking lot, or studying at the library nearby.

We put our tent there, showed our faces, met the employees and some other people in line, then quietly left for a couple hours at a time.

Well worth it.
