ok... so im getting a 55 tomorrow with an AMAZING fileration system. and i wanna put some plants and fish... this is my idea...

hornwort in the back.
some anubias in the back
and some wisteria and java ferns randonly placed.

10 platies
6 neon tetras
6 zebra danios
10 guppies
3 mollies
3 swordtails
5 glofish
1-2 dwarf gouramis
2 clown loaches(temporary!!)

Like that idea? I know my loaches require at least a 75, but that will be awhile b4 i need to get one at least a few years...

let me know what you think!

It's WAY too many fish. Fish put ammonia into the water from their waste. It can kill the fish if they're left in it. You'll have to change the water more than once a week to keep your fish alive. Just telling the truth!

Add on:

Make sure all these fish are compatible! Many of the more aggressive fish in your list will eat some of the smaller and less aggressive ones.

You need to set up your tank first with all the plants and everything else and let it sit for a week. That gives everything time to acclimate itself to the environment. You, however, cannot put that many fish into such a small space, especially at one time. Introduce one or two at a time. You shouldn't even put more than 10 fish in there, and that's cutting it close. Get more coral and plants than fish. Only introduce the fish slowly, like I said before.

I think it looks like a plan, but keep in mind glofish are genetically altered to glow, and are banned in California. I would advise against them....
