Have all non-HDTV televisions (from the Nineties or early 2000's) been destroyed from the earth as we know it like the dinosaurs, or are there places where consumers can still purchase them "used" and "refurbished?" Back in the day, I used to se these wonderful (and "fat") Sony large screen television VHS combos, and I wish I had purchased two. Is it because I'm afraid of today's technology. No, I just believe that overall, I got more bang for the buck with reception on "all" channels, whereas with HDTV, some channels are great, but non-HDTV channels come in poorly. When I watch the Turner movie channel, for example, no matter what I do, Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman look a bit fuzzy and stretched. Your answer will be appreciated. I'm ready to go back in time, at least in one or two of the rooms in my home!!!
