Mods-I'm not sure if this show would be classified as an anime or not, since Korean studio Sunwoo co produced it, so if it needs moving, feel free....

I discovered this show on Netflix's Watch Instant streaming service. It appears to have been just added in the last week or so. The Wiki page says it aired first aire in Canada on Teletoons in 2008, and was run on CN this past summer, but I've never heard mention of it before.

Man, being an adult in the future sucks...All the kewl jobs go to hot shot teenagers who get mighty morphin' flight suits/uniforms and rocket powered jets...:crying:

Anyone familiar with the show? Good? Bad? Stay away? ;)

I don't think none of us ever considers a Korean show as anime (co-production or otherwise), but I did find it interesting how the show used a limted animated style similiar to anime. Which is pretty much the only thing I remember about this show. I found the show itself kind of dull, and the dialogue was kind of cheesy,

Still, an entire series streamed is always worth checking out again.

Wikipedia is wrong, as usual. The series was announced in 2008, but it was CN USA that premiered the series worldwide last summer. The series is currently airing on Teletoon weekends with the Canadian premiere. It hasn't been shown elsewhere.

Personally I love MetaJets. I think the story is interesting, the villains are not as predictable as usual, and the regular tensions may exist but they are presented i a way that most people thought IGPX should have presented them. Currently there is only one season of 40 episodes, but a second season could be created (there are certainly enough storylines left open at the end of episode 40 for a second season), but it will solely depend on what international viewers think as CN gave it one run through and that was it.

Wonderful news because the way CN treated this show was a crime.

Looks like I have a good reason to do a free trial of Netflix streaming.

I've said it before in the CN forum, but yeah, I didn't have cable until midway during its run, so this'll be my only way to see it. It's a shame what CN does to action acquisitions they don't get a cut of the merchandising from nowadays... I wish/hope Gormiti turns up on Netflix someday (missed it in its entirety).
