Teflon on the oil drain plug?

I'm curious how many of you use a small amount of teflon paste on your oil drain plug before threading it back in after an oil change.

I noticed the guy on the Fix My Hog video uses it but I've never seen any other video or publication (including the HD service manual) that recommends it. I always change the rubber O-ring when changing the oil but I haven't used any teflon paste.

So do you recommend using it or do you think its overkill and not needed?

Small dab of thread sealer paste for me. No leaks and I don't change the o ring either unless its broken in half.

No need to use paste or tape on Your drain plugs. Just make sure the o-ring is in good condition and the plug is properly torqued, and You will not have a leak.
