hi,
okay so im leaving for boot camp soon. well ive recently discovered I have TMJ(the jaw popping)..but i have no pain, or anything. i didnt disclose it at MEPS because i did NOT have it then. so i wont say anything, but when i get to boot camp and they examine my teeth with an x-ray, would they see the signs of the TMJ? are jaw joints also in the xray? or is it just teeth..period. ? lol
thanxs

No one is going to bother you about it. If they do, just tell them that you didn't know you had it and it doesn't cause you any discomfort. I seriously doubt it will even come up. If they do see it, they will just ask you if it hurts, thats all.

I don't know which branch, but for marines, they examined my teeth physically and with x-ray. They don't check anything about your jaw unless you tell them about it or you actually have big enough pain for you to stop from training.

It doesn't matter if your jaw pops out because you don't need your jaw for any training. If for some reason, you have to stop training due to your jaw and it's easily fixable, they will fix it and you will continue your boot camp.

Before shipping out you will visit MEPS a second time, at which point you will be asked if there have been any changes in your medical condition since your first visit. You can get in just as much trouble for not disclosing something at this second visit, so tell your recruiter as soon as possible. Recruiters want you to make it, and will try to get you a waiver if you develop any disqualifying conditions.

How many times are you going to ask this same question? I know I have answered it twice already.
