associated with these hotspots? A.) The intial speed

B.) The temperature of the water below the hurricane

C.) The direction the hurricane rotates

D.) The time of the year the hurricane forms.

The answer to your question is islands and seamounts.
The multiple choices you give are not associated in any way to the subject (plate tectonics).

Dear student,
If you took a bit more time to read the questions and the textbook material, instead of hurridly pasting everything into Yahoo questions, you might get done faster.

You put the question about hurricanes into biology, but someone answered it correctly for you, regardless.

Your question about tectonic plates copies the choices from the hurricane question. You're going to fail miserably if you do your tests that way! Slow down and enjoy the flowers!

The answer, by the way, is volcanos and/or volcanic islands, but that's not going to help you much if you don't actually learn a bit of the science. I mean, I could have said "glaciers" and you would have believed it.
